Photography as therapy.

Photography has become incredibly therapeutic for me lately
and the reason for this just became crystal clear.
It's so simple:

It has the ability to change my perspective.

A mischievous 3-year-old suddenly makes me smile...

And rather than feel irritated...

I feel blessed to have 42 extra pounds of silly in my life.

Ugly winter landscaping suddenly stops me in my tracks,

makes me appreciate it's quiet beauty...

and reminds me of all the good that's just ahead...

Toys and random clutter suddenly brighten my view...

I'm forced to slow down...

and enjoy the little moments before they slip away.

What a blessed hobby this has turned out to be.
